The planning and the programming of The Brij is based on three main areas of learning:

Education & Research

including formal post graduate education as well as mentorship, internships, residencies and a publishing wing with a focus on writing and research.

Multidisciplinary Experiences

with a Museum housing interactive exhibits, performances taking place in the Auditoria, Arena and Black Box, culinary experiences, Library and Archives and immersive projects for audiences to engage with.

Innovation & Incubation

including formal post graduate education as well as mentorship, internships, residencies and a publishing wing with a focus on writing and research.

Founder

Sunil Kant Munjal, a patron of the arts and a philanthropist, has supported healthcare, education, and the arts in India for over 30 years. One of the founder promoters of the Hero Group, the world’s leading two-wheeler company, Sunil is currently the Chairman of Hero Enterprise, where he actively oversees higher education, healthcare, and capacity building projects managed by various family trusts.

In addition, he runs diverse operating businesses, an active Investment Office, and sits on the boards of multiple global organisations.

Sir Peter Bazelgette
The current Chairperson of the Royal College of Arts (UK), ex-Chairman of Endemol UK, and a celebrated British television personality has joined our international advisory board. Being a well-known name in the arts and cultural fraternity internationally, and having produced several well-acclaimed shows, Sir Bazalgette would be our guide and mentor in several strategic areas pertaining to the interdisciplinary arts and cultural practices.

Harsh Goenka
The Chairman of RPG Group, and noted industrialist and corporate leader from India, has joined our Indian advisory board. Being an ardent art collector and a strong advocate of innovation, Mr. Goenka will be a guiding force in making our Live Museum truly world-class and future fit.

Mr. Deepak Iyer
The leader of the Accenture Microsoft Business Group for Southeast Asia, Deepak brings with him over 22 years of extensive experience covering areas of Digital Innovation, IT Strategy, outsourcing, and Delivery Excellence. Being passionate about arts, Deepak has spearheaded numerous digital projects in this space, including the implementation of digital innovation at the National Gallery of Singapore, a prominent art destination in the South Asian Region…
